Salta Horses is a unique learning and development provider in North Canterbury New Zealand.

Our qualified, experienced team work with individuals, whānau and workplace teams in a beautiful rural setting in the Waimakariri district, just 40 minutes-drive north of Christchurch.

All activities are done on the ground with our gentle horses in a safe environment. There is no horse riding  involved. Anyone can take part, even if you have never been near a horse before.

Horse - Assisted Therapy

We can support you to enhance your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual wellbeing so that you can:

Our trauma informed approach combines horse interaction with talking therapy in an outdoor, private, natural setting. Our team includes an equine specialist and a mental health professional.

Wow, what an amazing experience.
